Novantem was founded in 2015 by Peter Luck after working for various world-wide leading manufacturers in the ingredients field for over 25 years. Our core competency is in the food & beverage, baking and snack, nutrition and personal care sector where we have a strong network with various industry key player. We expand our know-how and expertise with alliances and partnerships with subject matter experts.

 

Peter Luck, Managing Director

Over the last few years, Peter served as president of a global manufacturer of high quality, value added baking & snack ingredients for the B2B. The manufacturing operations included mixing, blending and agglomeration / coating technologies to produce high quality and highly customized blends to meet the highest demands.

His intensive sales & marketing and business development activities focused on North America and LATAM in particular, but also included business expansion in the Middle East. He improved and implemented systematic R&D and innovation processes to facilitate and support sales growth, especially focusing on the prevailing all-natural diet and nutritional trends such as gluten-free, vegan, fortification (Protein, high Fiber, Anti-Oxidants, Amino Acids, Minerals, Omega 3), Paleo / Keto, FODMAP etc.)

Peter executed strategic plan development for the operations and site, and successfully implemented a change and transformation management yielding in significant improvements in efficiencies, service and product quality. Under his responsibility, a continuous improvement program of the powder blending manufacturing process, including safety and quality program, was implemented.

 

Before, he worked as an accomplished sales and business development executive for a world-wide leading food ingredient manufacturer. He successfully developed and implemented sales strategies for markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before taking on the position as Director Sales North America, Peter implemented a structured key account management system and was responsible for the group’s main key accounts. In his roles as Director Sales North America he grew sales continuously above market growth with strong customer relations and new product launches. Clear and synergistic channel-to-market strategies helped to leverage the direct sales and sales through distribution. As part of the management team he was pivotal in significant bottom line improvements with supply chain and inventory optimization.
